Michael Hartley

Michael Hartley is a current Assurance Professional Practice Partner at Crowe and has been in this role since 2014. Previously, Michael served as a Partner in the Assurance Practice at Grant Thornton LLP from 1988 to 2005, and was a Director of Internal Audit at McMaster-Carr Supply Co from 2005 to 2008, where they implemented the COSO Framework. Michael held the position of Partner in the SEC Assurance Practice at McGladrey & Pullen LLP from 2008 to 2010 and was the International Inspections Leader at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board from 2011 to 2014. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Butler University between 1984 and 1987 and is currently pursuing further education in Accountancy at the same institution.
