Michael Santoro

Michael Santoro is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in state and local tax consulting. Currently serving as Principal at Crowe since January 2024, Michael previously held the role of Director of State and Local Tax at PwC from March 2012 to December 2023, focusing on income/franchise tax and sales tax consulting for corporate clients. Prior to PwC, Michael worked at Deloitte Tax in various senior management positions, where responsibilities included multistate tax quality assurance and significant client engagements. Earlier career stages include a managerial role at Arthur Andersen, where Michael developed successful tax refund positions, and a law clerk position at the Law Office of Lonny Ben Ogus. Michael holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northern Illinois University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bradley University.
