John Davis

John Davis serves as the Co-Chair of the eDiscovery Practice and Senior Counsel in the Litigations & Investigations Groups at Crowell & Moring LLP, where over 20 years of experience is applied to advising clients on information law issues including discovery, data analytics, privacy, cybersecurity, and emergent technology. Prior to this role, John held positions at UBS, including Executive Director and Counsel for Global Complex Cases and Global eDiscovery, where responsibilities encompassed managing investigations, data privacy assessments, and eDiscovery strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as Special Counsel at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where John represented companies in complex commercial disputes and advised on data law and compliance issues. John Davis earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
