Alex Elder

Alex Elder has extensive experience in the field of Audio Video (AV) and Video Teleconference systems (VTC) engineering, design, integration, and maintenance. They have worked for various companies, including Crowley, Jacobs, CSRA Inc, and TEK SYSTEMS IT STAFFING SOLUTIONS, providing support to US Transportation Command, US Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, and the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command-Norfolk. Their roles have involved overseeing and performing on-site installation, testing, and operation of AV and VTC technologies, as well as installation and maintenance of conference room equipment. Before their work in AV and VTC systems, Alex Elder had previous experiences in telecommunications, desktop support, and mission readiness training management.

Alex Elder obtained a Certificate in Crestron Certified Commercial Technician/Field Engineer from the Crestron Technical Institute in 2021-2022. Prior to that, in 2020-2021, they earned a Certificate in Crestron Certified DigitalMedia 4K Engineer from the same institute. In 2014, Alex received a Certificate in Crestron Certified DigitalMedia 4K Designer from the Crestron Technical Institute and a Certificate in CISCO NETWORKING FUNDAMENTALS from the University of Phoenix. They also completed Military Training in RF Transmission Systems Craftsman from 2010 to 2011 and Satellite, Wideband, And Telemetry Systems Craftsman from 2000 to 2010. Additionally, Alex holds an AS degree in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force from 2001 to 2005, an AS degree in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force from 1991 to 2005, and completed Military Training in Instrumentation And Telemetry Systems Craftsman in 1990. In the same year, they also underwent Military Training as an Instrumentation Mechanic.
