Andrew Leonard

Andrew Leonard is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in navigation and logistics. Since September 2016, Andrew has served as Chief Mate at Crowley, managing navigational bridge watches and cargo operations while overseeing unlicensed crew and conducting safety inspections. Andrew's maritime career also includes roles as Second and Third Mate at both Crowley and American Maritime Officers. In addition to maritime work, Andrew operates a photography business and held the position of Marketing Director for the Associated Students of the California Maritime Academy, where Andrew developed communication strategies and promotional materials. With a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the California State University Maritime Academy, Andrew has a solid foundation in maritime education, complemented by roles such as Cadet Second Mate and various leadership positions in youth programs.
