David Carlson

David Carlson is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector with a strong background in commercial management and business development. Beginning career as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Peak to Peak Charter School, David transitioned into the renewable energy field, gaining expertise as a Regulatory Specialist Intern at Devine Tarbell & Associates before joining GE Energy's Renewable Energy Leadership Program. Over the years, David has held various key positions at GE Renewable Energy, including Senior Commercial Proposal Manager, where responsibilities included leading commercial opportunities in the North American offshore wind market and developing pricing strategies. Currently serving as Business Development Director at Crowley, David continues to leverage extensive experience across renewable energy disciplines. Academically, David holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise and Operations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Hamilton College.
