Jim Bender

Jim Bender, EdD, currently serves as the Director at Crowley, where responsibilities include leading community social responsibility, corporate citizenship, and workforce development initiatives. Previously, Jim held the position of Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at Bethel University, successfully directing efforts that raised over $174 million during a comprehensive campaign. Jim has also served in various leadership roles at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul, Brookfield Properties, Target, and the Minneapolis Police Department, demonstrating a strong background in community engagement, fundraising, and organizational leadership. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D in Higher Education Administration from Bethel University and a Master's in Strategic Leadership, among other degrees.
