Kyra Roca

Kyra Roca has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kyra began their career in 1997 as a Production Planner at Quality Telecommunications Products, where they successfully implemented flexible production schedules to prioritize customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Kyra then moved on to become an Engineering Supervisor at the same company, managing a team of engineers and overseeing production line design and redesign.

In 1998, Kyra joined Verizon as a Project Engineer, where they played a crucial role in quantifying and assessing property losses caused by Hurricane George. Kyra also served as a Senior Quality Analyst at Verizon, providing internal quality assurance and process improvement consultancy for the Data and Multimedia Division.

Kyra then transitioned to North Memorial Health Care in 2001, working as a Six Sigma Consultant. In this role, they utilized the Six Sigma methodology to identify areas for improvement and recommend processes to increase inpatient capacity.

From 2003 to 2008, Kyra worked at The Barcelo Group in various roles, including Strategic Planning Manager and Commercial Director. As the Commercial Director, they were responsible for the marketing, sales, and distribution departments of a premium beverage distributor in the Dominican Republic. Kyra significantly grew the company's portfolio, increased sales and profits, and improved customer satisfaction and distribution.

Since 2008, Kyra has been a part of Crowley, where they have held several leadership positions. These include Manager of Freight Services, Director of Freight Services, Vice President of Customer Care, and currently, Vice President of Freight Services. In their current role, Kyra leads the Center of Excellence for Crowley Logistics and drives continuous improvement in service levels and quality through team development, automation, and efficiencies.

Kyra Roca holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Kyra also earned a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo between 1999 and 2000. Kyra Roca's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, with Summa cum laude honors, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they are certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
