Michael Demaray

Michael Demaray has over three decades of experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Crowley Maritime since July 1990. In this role, Michael oversees a fleet of shallow draft tugs and barges in western Alaska, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing engineering provisions, machinery and hull repairs, and maintenance budgets. Prior to Crowley Maritime, Michael held the position of Marine Engineer at Tidewater Marine from April 1974 to July 1990, where responsibilities included working as a licensed chief engineer on anchor-handling supply boats and handling complex propulsion and hydraulic systems. Michael's educational background includes studies at Ventura College in California from 1968 to 1969.
