Dave Hunter

David Hunter, PMP, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management and real estate. Currently serving as a Board Member for Planet Bee Foundation since February 2023, David contributes to the understanding and education surrounding native bees. As the Owner of Crown Bees since January 2008, David advocates for the use of solitary bees to enhance crop yields significantly. David's involvement in community improvement is reflected through membership in Rotary International and prior service as a Board Member for America in Bloom, which focuses on beautification efforts. David's past roles include Director of the Project Management Office and Director of Construction Management at DHL Express, where responsibilities included establishing departmental standards and managing large-scale national programs. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Airborne Express and service as a Captain in the United States Air Force. David holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and a BSCE in Hydraulics and Construction from the University of Washington.
