Daniel Hunt

Daniel Hunt is currently a Crown Counsel at the Crown Law Office, a position they have held since 2022, after serving as an Assistant Crown Counsel since 2019. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Senior Solicitor at Rainey Collins from 2015 to 2019, focusing on litigation related to Waitangi Tribunal and Māori land law. They also gained experience as a Report Writer for the Independent Police Conduct Authority from 2013 to 2015, where they analyzed police conduct and contributed to investigations and reports. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Victoria University of Wellington, which they completed in 2015.
