Simarjit Chouhan

Simarjit Chouhan is an Engineering Manager at Crown Technical Systems, where they manage the switchgear tendering team and lead a design team of engineers and designers. Since 2016, Simarjit has coordinated efforts for manufacturing switchgear in a new Canadian facility and has led the development of innovative switchgear designs that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Previously, they held mechanical design roles at General Switchgear & Controls Ltd. and Henderson Industrial Specialties, where they applied their engineering expertise to various projects, including the design of high-temperature explosion relief panels and emergency shutdown valves. Simarjit earned a Bachelor of Engineering & Management in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University.
