Larry Laster is a Senior Technical Consultant at Crown Training and Development, bringing a wealth of experience from decades in the electrical trade, which began at United States Steel where they completed an apprenticeship to become a top-rated "A" electrician. Over a 30-year career at United States Steel, Larry worked on the repair of EOT cranes, managed teams, and contributed to the automation of processes in the Pickle Department, including successfully welding Advanced High Strength Steels. Following retirement, Larry continued to enhance their expertise at Crane America Services before returning to United States Steel to tackle welding challenges and modernize operations. Currently, Larry is involved in advanced projects within a robotics battery plant, consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
