Stefan Hirth

Stefan Hirth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and technical leadership within the materials and packaging industries. Currently serving as a Senior Programme Manager at Crown Holdings, Inc. since June 2009, Stefan manages global programs and initiatives while leading strategy management and lean deployment planning for Crown Technology. Previous roles include Team Manager of Packaging Materials and Technical Manager at Novelis UK Ltd, where expertise in quality control and continuous improvement was applied. Additionally, Stefan has held positions as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Novelis and Technical Leader at Alcan, specializing in automotive materials development. Educationally, Stefan holds a PhD in Metallurgy & Metal Physics from RWTH Aachen University and a Diplom in Solid State Physics from the University of Cologne.
