Steve Canny

Steve Canny has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Steve worked as a Back End Python Developer at Crunch.io, where they designed and implemented new capabilities for their analytics product. Prior to that, Steve was an Open Source Developer, responsible for creating popular Python libraries for Microsoft Office-format documents. Steve also worked as a Python Developer at Tesla, where they developed a data extraction and archiving system. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Full Stack Developer and held various development and technology roles at Cisco Systems for over 15 years. Steve's early career involved working as a Management Consultant at Business Design Associates, leading client teams through business process redesign initiatives in industries such as heavy industry and finance.

Steve Canny attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1982 to 1986. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering.
