Danielle Ben-Gera

Danielle Ben-Gera is the Director of Data Engineering at Crunchbase. Danielle has over ten years of experience in the field of software development and data engineering. Prior to their current position, they were an Engineering Manager at Quid, a software development company. There, they were responsible for the backend team and oversaw the data acquisition pipeline, search, and algorithms.

Before their time at Quid, Danielle was a Software Developer at PE International, where they developed a calculator to help determine the environmental footprint of a company or organization. Danielle also worked as a Consultant for Recast Media Inc. and as a Research Assistant/Programmer for DFKI, German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence.

Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bar Ilan University.

Danielle Ben-Gera has a Master of Science in Natural Language Processing from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Linguistics from University of Tübingen.
