Jessica Vanhook

Jessica VanHook has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jessica is currently working at Crunchyroll as the Director of Software Engineering since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Crunchyroll from June 2022 to May 2023. Before joining Crunchyroll, Jessica worked at Fandango as a Staff Software Engineer, iOS from January 2016 to November 2020. At Fandango, they were the team lead for the FandangoNOW iOS app and played a key role in driving and implementing engineering practices. Jessica also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer in the mobile development field, having worked at M-GO: Movies & TV Everywhere! from January 2015 to January 2016 and at Disney Interactive from September 2011 to January 2015. At Disney Interactive, Jessica was involved in game development and was responsible for leading the development of multiplayer and social network-based learning games. Additionally, they have experience as a Flash Game Developer at Say Design from November 2010 to January 2012, where they worked on developing an interactive course player and virtual science lab simulations. Jessica also worked as a Programming Intern at Say Design from August 2010 to October 2010, where they collaborated with the CEO to create a game prototype.
