Robert Newman has extensive experience in the anime and manga industry, currently serving as the Anime/Manga Acquisition & Business Development professional at Crunchyroll, Inc. since 2013. Previously, Robert was the VP of Marketing and Business Development at JManga Co., Ltd. from 2010 to 2013, where the focus was on assisting Japanese publishers in releasing manga internationally. Earlier in Robert's career, from 2008 to 2009, a role as R&D Manager PMO for Foreign Relations at TAITO CORPORATION involved key contributions to the international release of retro game revivals and major American titles in Japan, alongside responsibilities in intellectual property management, international licensing, and translation.
