Brian Zhan is an experienced investor and product manager with a strong background in data analytics and technology. Currently serving as an investor at CRV since January 2023, Brian has successfully sourced and partnered with nine seed and Series A stage companies. Prior to this role, Brian contributed to the development of Starburst's batch analytics product from the ground up, collaborating with the original Presto creators and leading user interviews, engineering team hiring, and go-to-market strategy from January 2021 to December 2022. Brian's experience at Facebook spans several years as the first product manager for Presto and Spark, as well as involvement in the Live GraphQL Tooling team in 2017. Brian holds a degree from Northwestern University.
