Saar Gur has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Saar started their professional career in 2003 as an Entrepreneur, raising equity capital and successfully selling assets for a profit. In 2004, Saar joined Adteractive as Vice President, where they played a key role in scaling the company and achieving significant revenue growth.

Moving on, Saar became involved in multiple ventures as an advisor/angel investor, including Flixster, RockYou, Admob, Xobni, Voicestar, Frengo, and others. Saar also co-founded Carebadges.com, which was acquired by Facebook Causes.

In 2006, Saar co-founded BrightRoll, a leading video ad platform, and helped grow the company to be acquired by Yahoo in 2014. Saar also contributed to the growth and success of Viki, Inc. as an investor, leading their Series A and eventually selling the company to Rakuten.

Saar's expertise in the venture capital industry led him to become a General Partner and Venture Capitalist at CRV in 2007. In this role, they have focused on working with entrepreneurs to build world-changing companies and has been an early investor in companies such as Doordash, Patreon, Ring, Classpass, Bird, Oportun, and others.

Additionally, Saar has served in various advisory and board member roles, including Cendana Capital and Progress Financial. Saar has also taught as an instructor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, specifically in their StartupGarage program.

Saar Gur attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an MBA degree. Before that, from 1994 to 1998, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
