Sam Velez is an experienced professional in technical design with a focus on both menswear and womenswear. Currently serving as Lead Technical Designer at Crye Precision LLC since August 2022, Sam also holds the position of Senior Technical Designer at Amiee Lynn Inc. since September 2020. Prior roles include Senior Technical Designer at HATCH from March 2022 to August 2022 and Lead Technical Designer at Kohl's between April 2015 and August 2020. Additionally, Sam has significant experience as Design Director for both menswear at MR NIEVES from October 2010 to March 2015 and womenswear at Nieves Lavi from October 2003 to October 2014. Earlier in the career, Sam worked as Senior Designer for menswear at DKNY JEANS from September 2000 to October 2001 and is an alumnus of the Fashion Institute of Technology.
