Ricardo Sequeira

Ricardo Sequeira has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the software development field. Ricardo started their career in 2003 as a Programador at Cagicomp, where they developed software for automation of banking equipment and industrial production management solutions. In 2007, they moved on to Primesoft, where they worked as an Analista Programador, focusing on migrating Oracle Forms to Java and implementing accessibility rules. Ricardo then joined GFI in 2008 as an Analista Programador, where they maintained and developed software for error detection and risk mitigation. In 2011, they worked as a Consultor Senior TI at Dataway Consultores Informáticos Lda, involved in software development for insurance policy management. Ricardo also served as a Freelance Engenheiro de software, providing software design and implementation services. In 2012, they joined ISQ as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on software design, project management, and requirements analysis. In 2016, they became a Consultant Senior at Degetel, and from 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at CTT - Correios de Portugal. Currently, they are working as a Lead Developer at CRYOPDP.

Ricardo Sequeira obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Systems and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa in 2003 and a Curso Profissional em Eletrónica e Sistemas Digitais from Escola Secundária Fonseca Benevides in 1997. Ricardo completed a Master's Degree in Gestão de projetos from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management in 2014 and a Pós-Graduação em Gestão de Projetos from Instituto Superior de Gestão in 2012. Ricardo also has additional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in 2014 and various Microsoft certifications in software development.
