William Wang is an experienced professional currently serving as a Mentor at Harvard Blockchain since February 2024. William holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Cryptic Labs since March 2019 and has been an Advisor at both Cardinal Pitch Club and Stanford DTI, IoTeX since 2018, providing valuable insights on research collaborations, business development, public relations, and hiring. William founded and presided over the Cardinal Pitch Club from October 2015 to November 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at Applied Materials and imec, as well as an internship at Applied Materials, specializing in areas such as conductor etch logic and high-k dielectric. William holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, also from Stanford University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree from Zhejiang University.

Cyptic Labs is an innovative research institute primarily focused on solving fundamental problems in security to advance the viability and growth of the blockchain. We are building a unique community of illustrious cryptography and security advisors, researchers and innovative blockchain entrepreneurs who work on decentralize and distributed trust. We act as a bridge between university, venture capital and industry in this global exchange of ideas and resources The vision of Cryptic Labs, more practically the people’s lab, is a distributed research institute where any citizenon earth can propose research topics in blockchain, distributed systems, and cryptography and participate in them. As well, anyone can propose education topics, teach and take classes, ask and answer questions on the platform.
