Andres NAVARRE has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Andres began their career in 2005 as a Planning Professional at the Superintendencia de Servicios Públicos Domiciliarios. Andres then worked as a Commission's Advisor/Project Manager at the Comisión de Regulación de Comunicaciones - Colombia from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they became the Strategic Project Manager at the Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones.
Andres joined Intel Corporation in 2012, initially serving as the Government Affairs and Business Development Manager until 2014. Andres then transitioned into the role of Business Development Manager until 2015.
From 2016 to 2020, they worked at RISE-Ops as the Director for Business Development, Partnership, and Innovation, specializing in IoT and blockchain product development for the Energy Industry. During this time, they engaged with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Canada to maximize business opportunities.
In 2018, Andres joined Blocnova as the Co-Founder and COO, where they contributed to the company's operations until 2021.
In 2019, they became the Director of Adoption at Geeq, where they worked until 2021. Prior to this role, they also served as an Application Consultant from 2018 to 2021.
Andres then went on to work at White Buffalo Alliance starting from January 2023 as an Information Technology Consultant. At White Buffalo Alliance, Andres advised the design and implementation of Decentralized Ledger Technologies for the unbanked, focusing on the building of the Indigenous Village Project- Indigivil.
In 2022, Andres joined cryptMi as the Chief Strategy Officer, leading the transition of Fintech and Reward Web2 Programs to Web3, Blockchain, and the new economies. Their responsibilities included developing blockchain tech strategy, tokenomics, partnerships, operations, growth, and maintaining relations with exchanges.
Most recently, Andres has taken up the role of Head of Token at gennius xyz starting from February 2023.
Andres Navarre's education history started in 1994 when they enrolled at Universidad de Los Andes to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, which they completed in 1999. In 2001, they returned to the same university to pursue a Master's degree in Economics, which they completed in 2004.
In 2010, Andres attended NEOMA Business School and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Business. During their time at NEOMA, they participated in an exchange program at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in 2011, focusing on Marketing.
Throughout their education, Andres also obtained several certifications. In 2000, they earned a certification in Finance from Universidad Industrial de Santander. Additionally, they acquired certifications in various fields, including Project Management from Humber College in 2017, Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM in 2020, and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX in 2020.
More recently, in 2021, Andres became a Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator through the Blockchain Intelligence Group. Andres also obtained the title of Certified Blockchain Architect from the Blockchain Council in 2022.
