Dorothy Chau

Dorothy Chau is a seasoned professional in data protection, cybersecurity, and FinTech, currently serving as the APAC Data Protection Officer and Head of Security Assurance at Crypto.com since March 2022. In addition, Dorothy holds the position of Adjunct Professor and Industry Advisor at Hong Kong Baptist University, where Dorothy co-founded the Master in Science program in FinTech and Data Analytics. As an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Dorothy contributes as a board member and trainer for various privacy certifications. Dorothy is also recognized as an official member of the Forbes Finance Council, providing insights into emerging digital solutions. Prior roles include Director at Fusion Bank and Tencent, and academic positions at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dorothy's education encompasses advanced degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
