Petar Kalinov

Petar Kalinov has extensive experience in risk management and fraud investigations, currently serving as the Head of Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Investigations at Crypto.com since October 2018. In this role, Petar leads teams of analysts and collaborates with product, tech, and security units to implement risk requirements for new products. Previous positions include Risk Operations Manager and Team Leader, where Petar managed fraud monitoring initiatives and conducted hiring interviews. Prior to Crypto.com, Petar worked at Paysafe Group, holding various roles including Risk Systems Analyst and Senior Fraud Detection Specialist, focusing on fraud detection and compliance. Petar's career began at Tokuda Bank AD and includes experience in customer service and financial operations. Educationally, Petar holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy, complemented by a high school diploma in Math and English.
