Stephen Humenik

Stephen Humenik currently serves as the SVP, Global Head of Capital Markets and Head of Clearing, as well as the SVP, Global Head of Derivatives Legal at Crypto.com. In addition, Stephen is a member of the Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee of the Global Markets Advisory Committee at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and co-chairs the Securities, Capital Markets and Derivatives Subcommittee of the Banking Law Committee at the American Bar Association. Previously, Stephen held the position of Partner at K&L Gates, focusing on regulatory and compliance matters for a diverse client base. Other roles include Of Counsel and Head of Futures and Derivatives Practice at Covington & Burling LLP, General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer at Eris Exchange, and various positions at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Stephen holds a Juris Doctor in Securities Law from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Penn State University.
