Sungjun Hong

SungJun Hong is the Head of Business Development for international expansion at Crypto.com, since March 2022. Prior to this role, SungJun was the Sr. Director, Consumer Product Manager at Visa International Asia Pacific LTD from February 2019 to March 2022. SungJun's extensive experience in the finance industry includes roles such as Head of Credit Card, Head of Retail Analytics, Head of Mass Segment, Head of Retail Marketing, Strategy Manager, and Direct Sales Manager at Standard Chartered Bank from August 2005 to January 2019. SungJun also worked at Shinhan Bank as a Business Planning Manager from August 2003 to July 2005. SungJun's early career includes positions at SAS as a Project Manager from November 2000 to July 2003, and at Samsung C&T/Samsung Card in Business Development from January 1996 to March 2000. SungJun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Hanyang University, earned between 1989 and 1996.
