Jon Geater currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at FIDL: Filecoin Incentive Design Labs and the Chief Executive Officer of Bowball Technologies Ltd, both positions held since April and June 2025, respectively. With extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity, Jon Geater has been Co-Chair of the Supply Chain Integrity Transparency and Trust (SCITT) Working Group at IETF since November 2022 and an advisor at Crypto Quantique since March 2019. Jon Geater co-founded DataTrails and served as its Chief Product & Technology Officer until August 2025. Additional roles include Board Advisor at Elemendar, Chair of the Security and Trustworthiness Working Group at Digital Twin Consortium, and a former Board Member of Hyperledger. Jon Geater's past experience also includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Thales e-Security and membership in the Forbes Technology Council.
