James Haft

James Haft has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. James is currently serving as the Chairman of DLTx, where they are responsible for developing and managing essential infrastructure for the decentralized Web 3.0 economy.

In 1996, Haft founded Pacific Alliance Limited, LLC, a company that provides advisory services to businesses leveraging the digitization of information. With 30 years of experience, they have managed and closed domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions worldwide. James also serves as an advisor and mentor to internet businesses globally.

Haft is the Co-Founder of CryptoMondays, an initiative that focuses on building, growing, and engaging communities around distributed ledger technologies. Starting in 2018 in New York City, CryptoMondays has expanded to over 50 cities in 24 countries, bringing crypto enthusiasts together.

James is also a Co-Founder of NXTP Labs, the most active early-stage fund for tech companies in Latin America. With operations in multiple countries, they have invested in 174 companies in just over 6 years.

Haft founded Palgenesis Fund, LLC in 1996 and has been a Shareholder/Advisor at Element ASA since 2019 until March 2021.

In 2017, Haft co-founded CryptoOracle, a merchant bank and media consulting company that advises companies leveraging blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. They offer services such as blockchain/ICO advisory, manage the CryptoOracle Fund, and are involved in CryptoOracle Media.

Furthermore, Haft served as a Director at Broadway Asia since 1994, where they have been responsible for bringing Broadway shows to Asia. James has also held the position of Chairman USA at WeForest, an organization focused on saving the Earth through tree planting.

Additionally, Haft co-founded BlockFin Summit, the world's largest event covering blockchain in financial services. Produced by LendItFintech and co-hosted by CryptoOracle, BlockFin brings together innovators and experts from the blockchain ecosystem for learning, networking, and business development.

Throughout their career, Haft has demonstrated expertise in various sectors, including decentralized technologies, M&A, finance, entertainment, and environmental sustainability.

James Haft completed their primary education at Horace Mann High School. In 1979, they enrolled at Vassar College and pursued a bachelor's degree in Economics and Art History, which they obtained in 1983. Following this, from 1983 to 1987, they attended Emory University - Goizueta Business School and simultaneously studied at Emory University School of Law. James completed a joint JD/MBA program with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. In November 2021, Haft obtained a certification as a speaker from NFT.NYC.
