Jim Bruce

Mr. Bruce joined Crystal Diagnostics in January of 2012 as a marketing consultant. After a brief stint as the company’s COO, Mr. Bruce became President and CEO in September of 2012. He came to CDx as Principal of Bruce Consulting LLC, a Boulder based marketing solutions company in the biotech space.

Mr. Bruce began his career as a Meat Packaging Product Manager and later Marketing Manager for W.R. Grace in New Zealand. He was promoted to International Market Development Manager for WR Grace, covering Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Latin America, and South Africa. Mr. Bruce left WR Grace to lead the American Lamb Council, and formed a “case-ready”, branded, meat company in Austin Texas. He has served as President and CEO of several biotech companies, both public and private, including CV Technologies Inc., Madaus—North America, Sciona, Inc., and Natrix International LLC.

Mr. Bruce attended high school in Australia, completed his BA and MBA degrees at the University of Georgia and studied and lectured at Massey University in New Zealand.
