Tore Blystad

Tore Blystad is a seasoned professional in the video game industry, currently serving as Creative Director at Crystal Dynamics since February 2023, focusing on new game development. Blystad previously held the same position at Nyan Heroes from February 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included shaping the creative vision and managing creative teams. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Crystal Dynamics from 2014 to 2022, where notable contributions involved directing Marvel’s Avengers and performing as Performance Director, overseeing in-game storytelling and cinematics. Blystad also co-founded BifrostBerserk Designs LLC. as a game development consultant and worked at Arts United Software Co. Ltd. as a Creative Director and Studio Art Director. With a background that includes directing at Io-Interactive and leading art teams for Funcom, Blystad's experience spans over two decades and encompasses a wide range of creative roles, from level design to project management. Education includes studies at the University of Stavanger.
