Artem German has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Artem is currently working as the Head of IT/Head of Machine Learning at CrystalsFirst since May 2022. Prior to this, Artem worked as a Freelancer from 2011 onwards.
From March 2019 to January 2022, Artem was a Senior Software Developer at Baze, focusing on nutrition and scientific literature understanding. Artem also worked at Startup Heatmap Europe as a Startup City Accelerator Team Member from March 2018 to July 2020, aiming to make startup ecosystems readable.
Artem served as an IT allrounder, freelance at Creative learning space from September 2017 to March 2020, contributing to learning and skill development. Artem was an Entrepreneur and IT professional at Skills from December 2017 to November 2018, accelerating integration into the labor market for refugees.
Furthermore, Artem worked on Product Development and Full Stack DevOps at Companion2Go from May 2017 to January 2018. Artem also pursued their passion for music as a Drummer and Band Developer at Furious Anger, performing in various countries in the EU from 2010 to 2018.
Artem gained valuable experience as a Student Worker and Trainee at Micromata GmbH from April 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant at the University of Kassel from April 2012 to December 2013.
Artem German began their education journey in 2009 at Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg-Schule, where they obtained a degree as a "Staatlich geprüfter Mathematisch-Technischer Assistent" in the field of Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Artem then pursued further studies at the University of Kassel from 2010 to 2011, with a focus on Mathematics. Artem went on to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Kassel from 2011 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Artem German has obtained several certifications. Artem acquired the "Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark" certification from Coursera in August 2017, and the "Parallel programming" certification from the same platform in May 2017. Prior to that, in August 2016, they completed the "Functional Program Design in Scala" certification, along with the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" certification in July 2016, both from Coursera Course Certificates. Most recently, in March 2023, Artem obtained the "MATLAB Onramp" certification from MathWorks. Additionally, they hold an "EFSET English Certificate" with an Advanced (CEFR C1) score of 66/100 from EF Education First.
