Patrick Connor is a seasoned game designer and technical expert with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Principal Technical Designer at Crytek since November 2023, Patrick previously held the position of Design Director at Crystal Dynamics from September 2017 to November 2023. Notable earlier roles include Software Engineer at Merigo from April 2015 to September 2017, Founder of Robot Panda Productions from July 2011 to July 2016, and Programmer/Designer at Choice Provisions/Gaijin Games working on Tharsis. Patrick's design expertise was further demonstrated during tenures as Sr Designer at 2K Games and Big Huge Games, contributing to titles such as The Bureau: XCOM Declassified and Kingdoms of Amalur. Patrick began a career in design at Crystal Dynamics, working on acclaimed games including Tomb Raider Underworld and Tomb Raider Anniversary. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
