Bailey Smith

Bailey Smith is a Project Manager specializing in Standards Development for Natural Resources at CSA Group since April 2023, where expertise lies in developing bioeconomy and forestry standards, managing committees, and ensuring timely delivery of quality documents. Prior to this role, Bailey completed a PhD in Chemistry at Queen's University, focusing on green chemistry and bio-based products, while also serving as a tutor, lab mentor, and teaching assistant. Previous experience includes two terms as an Environmental Chemistry Laboratory Assistant at the City of Ottawa, performing water and wastewater testing, and as a Summer Program Coordinator at the Mississippi Mills Library, overseeing educational activities for children.
