Candace Sellar has extensive experience in environmental management and emergency response, having held various roles from Junior Project Scientist at Conor Pacific Environmental to Acting Manager of the Environmental Emergencies Section at Environment Canada. In this role, Candace managed a team, oversaw program budgets, and provided critical guidance during environmental emergencies. Additionally, Candace served as Head of Pollution Prevention in the Ontario Region, promoting pollution prevention programs across Canada, and accumulated significant project management experience at the Canadian Standards Association, including roles at CSA Group. Education includes a B.A. in Physical Geography and Environmental Studies from McMaster University, a Post-Diploma in Environmental Management from Niagara College, and ongoing studies for an M.A. in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University.
