James Jarman

James Jarman is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical certification and project management. Currently serving as a Certification Engineer at CSA Group since March 2017, James has previously held roles including Test Engineer at Highline Electrical, where responsibilities included testing and certifying large commercial installations for institutions such as the University of Manchester. Earlier in a career at V&W Electrics, James progressed from Approved Electrician to Qualified Supervisor, managing installation projects and leading teams for contracts up to £200,000. James began the career as an Electrical Apprentice at Flexsys, gaining foundational experience in installation and maintenance within a chemical plant setting. Academically, James holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Engineering from The Open University and A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Yale College.
