Ken Johnson, MASc, RPP, FCAE, PEng, serves as the Director of Arctic Engineering at EXP since May 2020 and possesses extensive knowledge of the infrastructure of the Canadian Arctic. Johnson is the Principal at Cryofront, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge on Arctic and Antarctic management, technology, and media since January 1997. As a member of various technical committees, including the CSA Group's Technical Committee on Northern Water, Wastewater and Stormwater and UArctic's Thematic Network on Arctic WASH, Johnson focuses on addressing environmental and technical challenges in remote Arctic communities. Additionally, Johnson holds editorial responsibilities for the Northern Territories Water and Waste Association journal and provides expertise to the National Research Council Canada on Arctic WASH programs. Previous roles include senior environmental planner at AECOM and project manager at Stantec, along with experience in academia as a course instructor at NMBU. Johnson's educational background includes a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
