Lovell Gilbert, P. Eng. is a recognized accident management expert and an experienced Nuclear Safety Manager at Bruce Power in Ontario, Canada. With a demonstrated history in the utilities industry, Lovell manages the Deterministic Safety Analysis Section and has significant expertise in nuclear safety analysis, severe accident management, and regulatory compliance. Lovell chairs the Task Team for Severe Accident Management/Beyond Design Basis Accident Management with the CANDU Owners Group and serves as an expert consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency. Additionally, Lovell is involved in lecturing on severe accident management guidelines and contributes to the development of nuclear power standards through various committees. Currently, Lovell is pursuing degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering at Lakehead University while also studying at the World Nuclear University in Sweden.
