Michael DeWit has over 39 years of experience in environmental and energy management, currently serving as the ISO TC301 National Chair for Energy Management and Energy Savings at the International Organization for Standardization since 1999. In addition to holding chair positions within various ISO committees focused on environmental management, occupational safety, sustainable development, and more, Michael is also a Senior Environmental Advisor at ICF, leading the Management Systems and Auditing practice. Michael's involvement extends to the Canadian Standards Association and includes advisory roles in the City of Mississauga’s Environmental Advisory Committee and Urban Forest Management Advisory Committee. Michael's educational background includes an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University, a BA from Western University, and a diploma from Fanshawe College in Air Water Resources Field Technology.
