Michael Leering

Michael Leering, P.Eng., currently serves as the Director of Environment & Business Excellence at CSA Group, a position held since August 2008. In this role, Michael effectively leads a multi-disciplinary team of project managers focused on environment, climate change, and corporate social responsibility. Responsibilities include the development of strategic vision and a five-year plan for the Environment & Climate Change program within the Sustainability Sector. Prior to this position, Michael was a Project Manager at CSA Group, where leadership was demonstrated in managing international projects under the Kyoto Protocol and delivering climate change education globally. Michael's career at CSA Group began as a GHG Program Coordinator, where advisory services were provided to clients on greenhouse gas emissions management. Michael holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph.
