Shawn Nelson

Shawn Nelson has extensive experience in the lighting and commercial sectors, currently serving as the Director of New Accounts for Home & Commercial and as the Commercial Business Director for Lighting, Wiring, and HiTech at CSA Group since December 2016. Prior to this role, Shawn was with UL from April 2011 to August 2016 as a Sr. Product/Service Specialist Manager, focusing on Product Engineering Services across multiple industries, and also held the position of North American Sales Manager. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Senior Account Executive at Intertek from May 1999 to April 2011, where engagement with HVAC, Appliance, Lighting, and Industrial industries was primary. Educational credentials include a BS in Sociology from Charleston Southern University, obtained between 1991 and 1995.
