Shelagh O'Donnell

Shelagh O'Donnell is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and marketing across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Communications at CSA Group since March 2025, O'Donnell previously held the position of Director of Communications at The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where strategic communications initiatives were developed to foster relationships with key stakeholders. O'Donnell has also successfully led marketing communications at OTEC to aid recovery in the Tourism and Hospitality sector post-COVID-19 and directed corporate communications for CNIB during a transformative period, launching multiple organizational brands. Earlier roles included leading communications at the Royal Ontario Museum, where O'Donnell enhanced the institution's public profile through comprehensive communication strategies. O'Donnell's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism and a Public Relations Graduate Diploma from Ryerson University.
