Simon Khavandi

Simon Khavandi, P.Eng., MBA Candidate, is an experienced project manager with a strong background in electric heat tracing products. Currently serving as Project Manager at CSA Group since 2020 and a member of the Integrated Subcommittee for Trace Heating, Simon previously held the role of Project Manager for HazLoc at LabTest Certification Inc. from 2023 to 2024. Prior experience includes project management and lead design engineer positions at Emerson Automation Solutions, where Simon led new product development for electric heat trace systems, and roles at nVent focusing on design engineering and proposals. Simon's education includes an MBA candidate position at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, a product management certification from Cornell University, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
