Massimo Benini

Massimo Benini is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in system engineering and resource management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and System Engineer at CSCS since April 2012, Massimo specializes in SLURM Linux Resource Manager, business intelligence, web application development, and OpenStack technologies. Additionally, Massimo holds the position of Chair for the Systems Monitoring Working Group at Cray User Group Inc. Prior experience includes roles at CINECA, where Massimo worked as a system engineer and software developer focusing on server farms and AAA team activities, and a DB Administrator role at AIVE. Massimo's educational background includes a Second Level Degree in Computer Engineering and a First Level Degree in Computer Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, complemented by a high school qualification in computer science and telecommunications.
