Susan Blount

Susan Blount is an accomplished legal professional and academic with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors for both DISCO and Cavco Industries, Inc., Susan has a strong background in corporate governance. As an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law, Susan imparts legal knowledge while previously holding the position of Interim Executive Director at the Center for Women in Law. In 2017, Susan was recognized as an Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard University. Susan's prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Prudential Financial for a decade, showcasing proficiency in legal and corporate matters. Susan earned a Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
