Tom Furr is the Chief Marketing Officer at Disco. Prior to joining Disco, Tom served as the Vice President of Brand Marketing, Content & Design at MongoDB from March 2021 to June 2022. MongoDB is a modern, general purpose database platform designed to unleash the power of software and data for developers and the applications they build. Tom was responsible for leading brand, content and visual + web design globally and reporting to the CEO.

Before MongoDB, Tom was the Vice President of Brand Marketing and Creative at Vonage from November 2018 to March 2021. Vonage is a $1.2B global B2B cloud communications leader serving companies from SMBs to large enterprises with communications APIs (CPaaS) and SaaS applications including call centers as a service (CCaaS) and unified communications as a service (UCaaS). Tom was responsible for brand and creative and reported to CMO. During their time at Vonage, Tom condensed and aligned three acquisitions and portfolio of four brands, websites, cultures, and processes into a single, scalable organization. Tom also launched an integrated brand campaign with a multi million dollar budget that targeted ITDMs and Developers which stretched across digital, on demand TV, content syndication, thought leadership, events, sales training, social, OOH and exceeded industry benchmarks. In addition, Tom launched Vonage’s first-ever customer conference.

Prior to their time at Vonage, Tom has held various marketing positions at companies such as GE Capital, American Express, and Citi. Tom has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications
