Alia Lemkaddem is an experienced professional with a strong background in biomedical applications and engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager and R&D Engineer at CSEM since May 2015, Alia is responsible for gathering user requirements, designing databases, developing signal processing algorithms, and managing projects. Previously, Alia held roles as a Doctoral Assistant and Scientific Assistant at EPFL, focusing on brain connectivity research and tool development for diffusion image processing. Before that, Alia worked in IT support at blue-infinity. Alia holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from EPFL and has master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from both KTH Royal Institute of Technology and EPFL. Alia also enriched academic experience with an exchange program in Biomedical Signal Processing at Stellenbosch University.
