Charles Caer, a Senior PIC Engineer at CSEM, has extensive experience in working on various projects related to silicon photonics, III-V on silicon lasers, and optical beam forming. With a background in Physics and Electrical Engineering, Charles has conducted research, designed, fabricated, and characterized silicon photonics devices and III-V on Si hybrid devices. Charles has also worked on EU funded projects related to silicon photonics packaging and III-V on silicon technologies. Charles has held various positions at renowned institutions like IBM, imec, and Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, showcasing their expertise in photonics and nanotechnologies.
