Michael D. Canonica

Michael D. Canonica, PhD, MBA, currently serves as Deputy Business Unit Head at CSEM since January 2022. Prior to this role, Michael D. Canonica worked at ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse from August 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included Business Program Manager and Project Leader, overseeing the operations and finances of product development portfolios, and Technology Program Manager, leading R&D teams for electronic watch production. Previous experience also includes positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Associate, developing innovative thrusters for Cube satellites, and as a Research Assistant at EPFL, focusing on micromirror arrays for astronomical studies. Michael D. Canonica holds an MBA from the University of St.Gallen and multiple degrees from EPFL in Microtechnology.
